Dustin backed the trailer into the driveway for the second time in a day, just yesterday he had bought Slewicidal Warrior and Definatley Royalty from an auction, now another?
Akira mused, watching Dustin unload the filly.
Akira walked up, letting the new filly smell her hand before touching her
" Another baby, Dustin? We;ll have our hands full next year"
" Yeah, but the more the merrier, its not like we haven't got the room"
" Yeah" Akira said absetmindley, petting the shiny bay's neck.
Dusitn led her to the feilds and put her in with Northern Lady, who turned her back to the new filly.
" They'll be friends," Lucinda remarked, carrying her saddle from the house
" Riding Merlot?" Akira asked her younger sister
" Yup, then I'm going to take Gift out, and do some flat."
"Yeah," Dustin agreed. They were retiring Gift of Slew, RS Dancing on the Sun and North Bend, from racing and retraining them in jumper and hunters.
" How are the mares doing?" Lucinda asked
"Good, Good, Maybe you can take View out to Lucy, she isn't with a foal and needs some excersice"
"Done"
